Is my mother escaping?

It's been a couple of weeks since my mother's photo was published in the newspaper, and she has still be very scared. I still don't understand why, but my father has continually tried to help her calm down. She's become so anxious that she is becoming a different person: she dyed her hair blonde (see the photo below that I took, see how different she looks??)

She has also been wearing these really dark glasses all the time lately and it's kind of been freaking me out! It's like she's trying to disguise herself & become a totally different, new person. I just want my mother back!!
