The [STUPID] Veil

Ugh. I am getting SO tired of this veil. I really don't know what to think about it. Deep down I'm very religious and want to stay true to my country's religion, but as a family, we are very modern and "avant-garde!" I have been religious since I was born (literally!) and don't know what to do about it now. I know that I want to become a prophet, but I don't know if I want to tell my parents that!!!! I'm so stressed out and busy right now, and there is so much to be thinking about. One half of me wants to be religious and be faithful to God but the other part of me just wants to BURST and not have to conform to the rest of my country; be individual and have my own ideas and thoughts!!!!!!

I think this is going to be my last post on this blog. I don't really have time to write on it (see, the most I've written is only twice a month so far!) and also my parents keep getting mad at me for spending too much time on it....they say I am writing to nobody but myself and maybe 2 other friends that read my posts! So I'll keep this blog up but I probably will stop writing in it.

Goodbye everyone, and wish me luck in all the adventures soon to come...

Your friend,

Marjane Satrapi
